Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Cape Town
Upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Later proceed on a half day city tour of Cape Town. Take the cable car (additional cost) to the top of Table Mountain (weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Continue through the historic Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Castle and other interesting sights. Towards the end visit the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.
Overnight in Cape Town.
Day 2
Cape Town
Today, enjoy a full day tour of Cape Point. You can enjoy a half-hour cruise to “Seal Island” (optional) or for the not so adventurous; a stroll through the fish market “Mariners Wharf” is a must. Continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass Penguin Colony (entrance not included) at Boulders beach near Simon’s Town. Then, travel onwards until you reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian. Your last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, home to some 3500 species of Southern African fauna and flora.

Day 3
Cape Town – Knysna
After breakfast, proceed for Knysna, situated between lush forests and the shores of the peaceful lagoon. In the evening, proceed for a sunset cruise on the Knysna Lagoon. Cruise to the Knysna Heads, on the comfortable and cozy boat with a classic wooden feel.

Day 4
Knysna
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Oudtshoorn. Experience the Little Karoo at its best, a truly scenic wonder of Africa. This tour covers the magic of this unique area with visits to the vast limestone caverns of the Cango Caves, an ostrich show farm, where you can see, touch and ride an ostrich as well as the Cheetah Wildlife Ranch, where you will find white tigers, lion, cheetah, crocodile and many more animals.

Day 5
Knysna – Aquila Game Reserve
Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Aquila Game Reserve. Named after the rare and endangered resident Black Eagle, the game reserve boasts a breathtakingly beautiful 10,000 hector Karoo conservancy. Enjoy your afternoon game drive in the reserve and return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 6
Aquila Game Reserve
Today, enjoy a full day game drive starting early morning. This will give you an opportunity to view wild animals in their natural habitat as they go about their daily activities.

Aquila Game Reserve - Cape Town
Enjoy a game drive early in the morning in the reserve and return to the lodge for breakfast. Later check out of the lodge and proceed for Cape Town International Airport for your onward flight back. (B)
