Assolda Ground is located in South Goa which is the launch site for all the hot air balloons in Goa. After exploring the coastal line and the local markets, it’s time for an offbeat adventure,i.e. Hot Air Balloon. Reach the launch site at Assolda Ground, South Goa and start your balloon ride with the inflation of the balloon and you’re ready to be in the air. Reach a height up to 900ft and enjoy the beautiful view. 

Throughout your flight, the ground crew follows your balloon over grounds and roads so as to assure a safe landing. A transfer to the launch site would be provided. Conclude your memorable experience around 8:30 and head back to your hotel.  

Note: Up to 10 pax per flight, children must be accompanied by an adult. 

How to reach:  Assolda is a football ground in Quepem Taluk in South Goa District of Goa State, India. It is located 13 KM towards East from District head quarters Margao. The location is accessible from both North and South Goa.

• Warm clothing for possible chilly mornings.

• Bringing pets to the event is discouraged.

• Warm and robust outdoor clothing with sturdy shoes is required. Natural fibers are preferred because of their better resistance to heat.

• You will need to be able to climb into and out of the basket and bear in mind that takeoff and landing may well be in a muddy field.

• Expect the air temperature to decrease with altitude.

• Hot air balloon flights are subject to weather conditions for the safety of our passengers. If the flight is rescheduled due to weather conditions, your flight will move forward to the next mutually convenient date.

• The most important aspects of the weather are that there must be wind speeds of less than 12 mph, reasonable visibility, a stable atmosphere, and no rain or snow.

• Balloons take between 15-30 mins to inflate, depending on their size. Inflation usually commences at 6:15 AM with the majority of the balloons launched prior to 7:00 AM.

• Confirmation will be received at the time of booking.

• Children must be accompanied by an adult.

• Child rate applies only when sharing with 2 paying adults.

• A minimum of 2 adults per booking is required.

• The minimum age is 5 years.

• Pregnant women are not permitted to board.

• Not wheelchair accessible.

• Travelers with any medical conditions should first consult with their doctor before booking this tour.

• Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.

• No height or weight restrictions prevent participation in this activity.

• As you are flying at wind speed, the temperature is not cold whilst on the hot air balloon ride. With additional heat from the burners, it is actually warmer than on the ground. Wear sensible outdoor clothes and flat shoes.

• If cancellations are made 30 days before the start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• If cancellations are made within 0-30 days before the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

• Same Day cancellations are non refundable.

• In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try their best to provide an alternate feasible. However a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
